Company Policies
Customer Responsibilities:
The customer agrees to provide a safe and secure work environment for Slater Painting LLC
This includes:

Ensuring pets and children are kept away from the work area.

Providing access to electricity and water as needed for the project.

Informing Slater Painting LLC of any known hazards or concerns related to the work site.

Removing any property directly obstructing the work area.
Insurance Policy & Licensure:
Slater Painting LLC is fully licensed and carries liability insurance in South Carolina to cover potential damages or injuries that may occur during the project. Upon request, we will provide a certificate of insurance to ensure peace of mind.
Touch-Up and Repair Policy:

Notification Period: The customer must notify Slater Painting LLC of any touch-ups needed within 7 days from the date of project completion.

Reasonable Touch-Ups: Slater Painting LLC will perform touch-ups within reason, including addressing any missed areas, inconsistencies, or other minor issues related to the original project scope. Slater Painting LLC reserves the right to constitute a reasonable touchup.

Forfeiture of Rights: If the customer does not notify Slater Painting LLC within the specified 7-day period, they may forfeit the right to request touch-ups, and any additional adjustments could incur extra charges.

Exclusions: This touch-up policy does not cover issues resulting from misuse, alterations, or damage caused by the customer or third parties after the project’s completion.
Site Cleanliness and Protection
Slater Painting LLC will take all reasonable precautions to protect the customer’s property during the project. However, the customer is responsible for removing or protecting any personal items, landscaping, or other property that could be affected by the work. Slater Painting LLC is not liable for any damage to items that were not properly removed or protected.
Warranty and Limitations
Slater Painting LLC provides a limited warranty on its workmanship for 12 months from the date of project completion. The warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents.

Issues arising from improper maintenance or cleaning by the customer.

Changes in paint appearance or wear due to weathering, moisture, other environmental factors, or use of inferior paint/stain products.
Any warranty claims must be made within the warranty period. Slater Painting LLC will inspect the claimed defect and, if covered, will repair or replace the defective work at no additional cost to the customer.
